Ove Kjerstad

Ove Kjerstad has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ove began their career at Wärtsilä as a Production Engineer and NC Machine Operator, where they gained experience in production engineering, CAD, tools, and NC programming. Ove then moved on to Ericsson Components as an Embedded Software Developer, where they developed a surveillance system managed through IP and modem protocols. Ove worked on creating webpages stored in the main unit and connected several embedded systems using CAN and their own protocol. Ove later joined Emerson as a Software for HW Developer, where they developed a surveillance system managed through IP and modem protocols, similar to their previous role. Ove then transitioned to ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions as a FW/SW Developer, working on entrance security systems and system communication with numerous nodes around a door. Ove's most recent position is at StrongPoint as an FW/SW Developer, where they develop systems for cash management on Linux and Free RTOS.
