Mark Bach

Mark Bach has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical industry. Mark is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Structure Therapeutics since June 2021 and has been promoted to this role in August 2022. Prior to that, they served as the SVP of Clinical Development and Medical Affairs, Endocrinology at Ascendis Pharma A/S from November 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Ascendis Pharma A/S, Mark worked as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at Accumulus, Inc. from July 2020 to November 2020. Mark held various positions at Johnson & Johnson from 2010 to 2020, including VP of Office of the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Asia Pacific Medical Sciences.

Mark also worked at Merck from 1993 to 2010, serving in roles such as Vice President and Exec Dir of Global Medical Organization. Mark started their career at NIH as a Medical Staff Fellow/Postdoc from 1988 to 1993.
