Mishar Briones has extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. They most recently worked at Stuart as the Head of Brand & Content, where they developed a cross-country content strategy, managed a multi-disciplinary team, and improved brand reputation and awareness. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Content Strategy at Ghostit Content Marketing for five years. They also have experience as a freelance writer, editor, translator, and events coordinator. Additionally, Mishar has worked in marketing and event management roles at Ginger 62, The Morrissey Pub, Smiths Pub, Eco Fashion Week, Urbandates.ca, Vancouver Fashion Week, and Dorinha Jeans Wear. They began their career as an Assistant Manager at Peng Chau 1 Restaurant, where they handled various managerial tasks and trained the staff.

Mishar Briones obtained a Diploma in Fashion Marketing & Management from the Art Institute of Vancouver during the period of 2008-2010. Prior to that, they attended McGill University from 2005-2007 where they studied Sciences. Mishar Briones also has a certification in "Creating a PR Strategy" from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, obtained in 2023.
