Katherine Peresolak M.a., Rpa

Katherine Peresolak, M.A., RPA has extensive experience in the field of cultural resources and archaeology. Katherine has worked in various roles and positions throughout their career. Starting in 2012, Katherine worked as a Field and Lab Technician for AK Environmental, LLC. Katherine then moved on to GAI Consultants, Inc., EDR Companies, and Dovetail Cultural Resource Group where they gained experience as a Field Technician. In 2013, they returned to AK Environmental, LLC as a Field Technician. Katherine also worked as a Field and Lab Technician for McCormick Taylor, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. At Indiana University of Pennsylvania, they served as a Field Director for the P.H.A.S.T. crew, coordinating projects, supervising interns, and conducting surveys. From 2017 to 2021, Katherine worked as an Archaeological Field Director at McCormick Taylor, Inc., completing surveys, directing field work, and assisting with various tasks. Katherine also worked as a Field Director at Juniata College, assisting with field school projects. Currently, Katherine is serving as a Cultural Resources Crew Leader and Field Director/Jr. P.I. at the Student Conservation Association, where they are involved in cultural resource and preservation projects. Katherine'sexperience includes field work, lab oversight, cataloging, reporting, artifact processing, and curation, among other tasks.

Katherine Peresolak, M.A., RPA has a strong educational background in archaeology and anthropology. Katherine obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology/Archaeology Option from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Archaeology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, completing their studies from 2015 to 2017.
