Tracy Armstead has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tracy is currently the Director of Learning Experience Design and Product at Studion, where they lead a team in articulating a strategic vision, closing contracts, and launching large-scale learning products. Prior to that, Tracy worked at 2U as a Course Development Team Lead, overseeing the successful launch of over 100 higher education courses. Tracy also held the role of Course Developer at 2U, managing production planning and design. Tracy's earlier experience includes being a Visual News Editor at The Wall Street Journal, where they positively impacted the newsroom through increased collaboration and empowered a team of visual specialists. Tracy also served as an Associate Photo Director at The Wall Street Journal, responsible for overseeing daily operations and managing a global network of freelance photographers. Tracy began their career as a Freelance Project Manager/Photo Editor at Time Inc./Hachette Filipacchi Media/Pearson, where they were responsible for sourcing and editing visual content for educational books, magazines, and online media.

Tracy Armstead completed a Product Management Bootcamp at 20/20 Shift in 2017. Prior to that, Tracy earned a Bachelor's degree in Film/Video and Photographic Arts from Emerson College.
