Jamie Smith-Talwar

Jamie Smith-Talwar has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Starting in 2012, they worked at Collegiate Academies as a Founding Reading Teacher and Curriculum Writer, and later became the 9th Grade Dean. In 2014, they joined Noble Network of Charter Schools as a High School English Teacher and Subject Facilitator, and also served as a Summer School Principal. In 2016, they worked at Empower Schools as a Data Analyst. From 2017 to 2021, they held the position of Dean of Instruction at Noble Network of Charter Schools. Jamie's most recent experience includes roles as Academic and Content Operations Manager, Senior Manager of Academics, and currently, Director of Education at a company called Subject.

Jamie Smith-Talwar has a strong education background with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, which was attained from 2016 to 2017. Prior to this, Jamie pursued a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from Auburn University during the years 2010 to 2011. Jamie's foundational education includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, earned from West Virginia Wesleyan College for the duration of 2005 to 2009.
