Jeffrey Kennedy

Jeffrey Kennedy has a diverse range of work experience in the field of mathematics education. Jeffrey is currently a Lead for Mathematics Learning Quality at Success Academy Charter Schools, where they manage a team of learning quality specialists and oversees professional development for math educators across 53 schools. Prior to this, Jeffrey worked as an Instructional Specialist at Washington University in St. Louis, where they developed and executed professional learning programs for math classrooms in regional school districts. Jeffrey also served as an Adjunct Instructor, designing and instructing graduate-level courses. Before that, Jeffrey worked as a Mathematics Specialist at The Town School, leading math instruction for grades 5-8 and providing coaching and guidance to math teachers. Jeffrey also had experience as a Content Area Leader and Founding Mathematics Teacher at Unity Preparatory Charter School of Brooklyn, where they taught grade 6 math and led a team of math instructors. Jeffrey's earlier experience includes roles such as Math Lead Teacher and 6th Grade Math Teacher at Saint Louis Public Schools, Math Teacher at Young Scholar Academies, and Second Grade Student Teaching at Randolph board of education. Jeffrey started their teaching career as a 6th Grade Math Teacher at Mountain Lakes Board of Education. With their extensive experience and expertise, Jeffrey has demonstrated a commitment to improving math education and fostering equitable outcomes for students.

Jeffrey Kennedy attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources and Biology. Jeffrey then pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching at Montclair State University from 2008 to 2010, specializing in Elementary Education. In 2010, they also obtained a New Jersey Teaching Certification with Advanced Standing from the New Jersey Department of Education. In 2018, Jeffrey completed the University College Course Design Institute at Washington University in St. Louis - University College.
