Summer Health is seeking an Employer Sales Lead to help us further our mission by selling Summer Health’s suite of pediatric care products to enterprise customers. We want employers to offer world-class healthcare experiences to their employees and employees’ family members. As our salesperson, your role will be to identify, pursue, and close business deals with applicable employers. Your previous experience in sales is critical to the success of this role. As a pivotal member of the team, you’ll collaborate internally, as well as engage strategically, with external stakeholders to acquire new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for Summer Health to scale footprint across all enterprise customers
  • Define and meet a quota for sales
  • Meets all administrative management responsibilities including effective CRM use to measure and track opportunities and outcomes
  • Coordinate with Marketing team and leadership team
  • Participate in industry meetings, conferences, and trade shows for brand awareness

More about you

  • 4+ years of sales experience with proven and consistent track record of success in sales performance including hitting quota
  • Knowledge of health care benefits, the healthcare industry and employee benefits; background in a health plan, benefits consulting (preferred)
  • Proficiency in all aspects of the sales process including: performing initial outreach, developing relationships, negotiating and closing contracts and managing ongoing relationships
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and a high bar for excellence
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Outstanding customer focus and professionalism to clarify and validate client needs on an ongoing basis
