Manuel Cordova

Manuel Cordova is the Human Resources Manager at Summertree Residential Centers. Manuel has over fifteen years of experience in the accounting and human resources industries.

Manuel began their career as an Office Manager at Sealex Inc. in 2004. Manuel then became a Project Manager at Omega Technology Solutions, where they managed projects for clients such as Dell, Microsoft, and HP. In 2009, they left Omega to become the General Manager of Northwoods Lodge.

After a year at Northwoods Lodge, Manuel returned to the corporate world as an Accounting Manager and Human Resources at MKB Holdings. Manuel then transitioned into recruiting at Financial Search Group, where they helped place professional management accountants.

In 2017, Manuel joined Summertree Residential Centers as the Human Resources Manager. In this role, they are responsible for leading the recruitment process, onboarding new employees, and managing employee benefits.

Manuel Cordova received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lawrence Technological University in Business Administration and Management, General. Manuel also has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Lake Superior State University in Business Administration / Marketing and an Associate of Science (A.S.) from North Central Michigan College in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition, they have certification from SHRM in SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

They are on a team with Barb Sands - Quality Assurance Coordinator, Archie Wyatt - Secretary, and Tracy Trasky - Finance Director. Manuel Cordova reports to Deborah Daly, Executive Director.
