Greg James

Greg James has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Greg began their career in 1991 with Marriott International, where they held various roles in operations and sales management. In 2001, they joined Larco Hospitality as the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort Spa and Golf. Greg then moved to Marriott International in 2002, working at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort Spa and Golf until 2005. In 2005, they joined Interstate Hotels & Resorts as an Area General Manager. Most recently, they have been working at Summit Hotel Properties, Inc., where they started as the Vice President of Asset Management in 2013. Greg was promoted to Senior Vice President of Asset Management in 2020 and further promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations in 2022.

Greg James attended Arizona State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Before attending the university, they completed their high school education at Quince Orchard High School from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Staples High School from 1989 to 1990.
