Lori Cloud Johnson

Lori Cloud Johnson has extensive work experience in procurement and sourcing. Lori is currently the Vice President of Sourcing & Procurement at Summit Materials, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Sourcing/Procurement Manager at Alleyton Resource - Summit Materials from 2016 to 2019, where they developed and implemented a systematic procurement system and established strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Before joining Summit Materials, Lori worked at FMC Technologies for over a decade, starting as a Senior Buyer/Planner in 2005 and eventually becoming the Global Procurement Processes Lead/Regional Procurement Manager. In this role, they demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and achieved significant cost savings through negotiating with suppliers and implementing global procurement processes.

Lori also gained experience as a Senior Buyer/Planner at Thomas & Betts from 2001 to 2005 and as a Senior Buyer at Montell USA from 1995 to 2001. Lori'sroles in these companies involved overseeing procurement practices, ensuring on-time delivery of quality products, and managing inventory. Overall, Lori has a proven track record of driving cost savings, improving inventory control, and cultivating strong relationships with suppliers.

Lori Cloud Johnson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from LeTourneau University. Lori also has an Associate's Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from McNeese State University.
