Laura Moore

Laura Moore, FCIPD, has a diverse and extensive work experience in HR. Currently, they are the Head of HR Operations at Sumo Group since January 2024. Prior to this role, Laura served as the Senior HR Business Partner - Group at Sumo Group from April 2022 to January 2024. Laura also worked as an HR Manager at Sumo Group from January 2020 to April 2022. Before joining Sumo Group, Laura held various HR positions in different organizations. Laura was the Treasurer for the CIPD South Yorkshire Branch from May 2016 to May 2021. Laura was an HR Manager at Altrad Services UK from September 2018 to December 2019. Laura worked as a National Senior HR Business Partner at Wincanton, contributing to consumer brands such as Heinz, GSK, Lucozade Ribena Sundry, Britvic, P&G, and Nestle Purina from July 2017 to July 2018. Prior to this, they served as a National HR Manager at Wincanton, overseeing HR functions for M&S, Topps Tiles, Magnet, and Cormar from July 2016 to July 2017. Laura also worked as the Head of HR & Communications at Action Housing & Support from May 2013 to July 2016. Laura gained experience as an HR Business Partner at Webhelp UK, handling clients such as Vodafone, BT, Halifax, and Viking from March 2012 to May 2013. Additionally, they served as an HR Advisor at St Anne's Community Services from November 2010 to March 2012. Laura started their career as an HR Coordinator at Business Link Yorkshire from June 2008 to October 2010. Laura gained further experience as an HR Assistant (Placement Student) at SNA Europe from January 2008 to June 2008. Lastly, Laura worked as a Supervisor at Timberland from November 2006 to April 2008.

Laura Moore, FCIPD, obtained an MSc in Human Resource Management from Sheffield Hallam University in 2008. Prior to that, they completed a BA Hons in Business Studies from the same university between 2002 and 2006. Their A Levels, including Business Studies, Economics, General Studies, and AS Level Accounting and Psychology, were completed at Thomas Rotherham College from 2000 to 2002. Laura Moore's education history also includes attending Branford High School for their high school education from 1997 to 2000. Laura has an additional certification as a Mental Health First Aider from Red Umbrella, obtained in 2020.
