Shmulik Weller

Shmulik has served as a leader of SundaySky since its inception, growing the company from an initial staff of three to today’s team of more than 160 dedicated professionals. Prior to co-founding SundaySky, Shmulik served in a number of executive positions at Veon, an Israeli start-up acquired by Philips’ MP4Net Group. Philips’ MP4Net Group appointed Shmulik vice president of research and development. In that position, Shmulik played a key role in evangelizing and developing a media transcoding solution for mobile operators. As a result of the solution’s immediate market traction, the group was spun out as Adamind and listed on London’s AIM stock exchange. Adamind soon became a global leader in mobile media transcoding.

In addition to his achievements in business and technology, Shmulik served his mandatory military service in an elite intelligence unit of the Israel Defense Forces and was awarded the prestigious Israel Defense Award for innovative software projects. He earned both his Master of Arts degree in philosophy and Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Tel Aviv University.
