Bruce Sohn

Bruce Sohn has worked in a variety of roles in the past decade. In 2010, they were appointed Chairman of the Manufacturing Council at the U.S. Department of Commerce. From 2011 to 2014, they served as CEO of Fluidic Energy, President of MEGE Associates, and Chairman of the Board at Phononic Devices. In 2014, they became a Board Director at 1366 Technologies, Inc. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Board Director at Kinestral Technologies, Inc. and President at QuantumScape. In 2017, they became the CEO of Siva Power. In 2020, they took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Halio, Inc. and Board Director at Sunfolding.

Bruce Sohn attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a SB in Materials Science and Engineering. Bruce later obtained a Certificate from Harvard Business School Online in 2017 in Disruptive Strategy, and a Certificate from edX in 2016 in Energy within Environmental Constraints.
