Peter Nguyen, CFA

Peter Nguyen, CFA has extensive work experience in capital markets and structured finance. Peter is currently the Head of Capital Markets at Sungage Financial since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as VP, Capital Structuring at Capitolis from November 2020 to August 2022. Peter also held roles as Director, Capital Markets at Sunlight Financial from 2019 to 2020 and as Structured Finance and Capital Markets at Sixup PBC, Inc. from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they served as Director, Capital Markets Origination at Citi from 2013 to 2016 and as Vice President, Structured Capital Markets at Barclays Investment Bank from 2011 to 2013. Peter's career started at Goldman Sachs, where they worked as an Executive Director in the Special Situations Group from 2001 to 2011.

Peter Nguyen, CFA earned their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification in 1998 from the CFA Institute. Peter completed their MBA in Financial Engineering at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. Prior to their MBA, they obtained an Honors BBA in Finance from the University of Houston. In addition to their academic achievements, Peter also obtained certifications such as Series 3 from the National Futures Association and Series 7, 63, and 79 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2001.
