Robert Berg, D. Eng., M.S., has an extensive work experience in various roles related to logistics, supply chain, and operations management. Robert currently holds the position of Vice President Continuous Improvement & Operations at Sunland Logistics Solutions since February 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Logistics & Supply Chain at Nadine West from April 2019 to February 2020.

From 2016 to 2019, Robert worked for EIS Inc., where they held the position of Director of Operations Excellence: Manufacturing from February 2018 to February 2019. Before that, they served as the Director of Process Engineering: Fulfillment, from June 2016 to February 2018, where they were responsible for developing corporate standards for product flow, process mapping, shipping/receiving, and product placement, as well as planning and transitioning the fulfillment physical network and optimizing fulfillment labor and financial engineering.

Prior to their tenure at EIS Inc., Robert held the role of Sr. Manager Distribution Center Operations at Tyco from February 2014 to June 2016. Robert also worked for Tyco Fire Protection from July 2012 to February 2014 as a Logistics Operations Excellence Project Manager.

Robert's earlier experiences include working as a Fulfillment Logistics Manager at Staples from May 2010 to April 2012, serving as an Automated Logistics Sergeant in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan from January 2009 to March 2010, and holding various positions at Staples from 2005 to 2009, including Sr. Regional Operations Analyst: Fulfillment Logistics and Transportation Analyst: Fulfillment Logistics.

Their career began in the U.S. Navy - Submarine Force, where they served as a 2nd Class Petty Officer in Logistics from July 1996 to July 2001.

Robert Berg holds a Doctorate of Engineering from The George Washington University, specializing in Engineering/Industrial Management, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Robert also obtained a Master of Science degree in International Logistics & Supply Chain Strategy from Georgia Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography Business Location & Planning at Framingham State University from 2001 to 2005. In 2023, Robert will complete their Master of Science in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from William & Mary. Additionally, they obtained a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University in September 2014.
