Shannon DeYoung (McCormick) has over 23 years of experience in talent acquisition and human resources. Beginning in 1998 as a Staffing Manager and Recruiter at Robert Half International/Accountemps, they then moved on to become a Division Director and Senior Recruiter at Partners in Technology. In 2000, they joined marchFIRST as a Senior Recruiter before taking on roles as a Special Education Paraprofessional- Substitute Teacher at Kentwood Public Schools and as a Board Member, Membership & Student Membership Chair & Vice President at aimWest.

In 2001, Shannon became a Real Estate Investor and later became a Co-Owner of Big Brower Lake Rentals in 2016. Shannon then joined Select Resources LLC in 2003, where they held various roles, including Talent Acquisition Leader, Director of Talent Acquisition, Director of Corporate Talent Acquisition, and Director of Recruiting.

In 2014, Shannon became a Talent Acquisition Strategist/HR Business Partner at McCormick Place, LLC, working with clients such as SunMed and Santa Cruz Nutritionals. In 2019, they transitioned to their current role as the Director of Talent Acquisition at SunMed, where they are responsible for developing talent acquisition strategies, leading employment branding initiatives, and managing all talent-related vendors and systems. Shannon'srole also involves partnering with functional leaders to determine the growth of their teams.

Shannon DeYoung (McCormick) pursued their education with a focus on business and languages. From 1989 to 1992, they attended Jenison High School for their college preparatory studies. Subsequently, they enrolled at Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business, Accounting, and Spanish from 1992 to 1996.
