Gary Michal

Gary Michal has extensive experience in process improvement and continuous improvement. Gary currently holds the role of VP, Process Improvement at Sunnova Energy. Prior to this, they worked at NOV for over 15 years, where they held various roles including Director of Continuous Improvement, QA Manager, and Engineering Manager. In these positions, they utilized Lean Six Sigma tools and statistical analysis to solve process problems in both manufacturing and transactional environments. Before NOV, Gary was an Engineering Manager at Reynolds Industries and an Engineering Services Manager at Rockwell Automation. Gary also served as the Technical Director at ITW/Strapex Corporation and the R&D Manager at Union Special Corporation. In these roles, they managed teams, oversaw product development, and had P&L responsibilities.

Gary Michal has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Technology Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin. Gary also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition, they have a certification as a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt (CSSMBB).
