Roger Boneno has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Roger began their career as a Marine in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged after facing an injury.
After that, Roger worked at Shell Oil Company as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they managed the planning process for a $1 billion global shared services business unit and supported the implementation team for the creation of a $500 million stand-alone domestic shared services unit.
Roger then joined KFC as a Strategic Planning Manager & Senior Financial Analyst, where they played a key role in closing the sales gap between inner city and suburban restaurants. Roger designed a new menu structure and pricing strategy through research conducted in 40 restaurants across representative markets.
Roger later worked at Landry's as a Promotions Manager, where they were instrumental in driving the turnaround of the Joe's Crab Shack brand. Roger developed new products and designed pricing strategies through targeted consumer research and played a pivotal role in defining and executing the media strategy.
After that, Roger worked at ypOne Publishing as the Director of Strategic Planning and Analysis. Roger created a new revenue, profit, and cash forecasting model and led the strategic and financial planning team. Roger also worked on restructuring loans, obtaining additional credit, and participated in the company sale.
Roger then became a Consultant/Franchisee at AdviCoach Business Advisers, where they worked with business owners from various industries. Roger focused on strategy development, profitability and cash flow, pricing strategy, and operational execution.
In addition to their professional work, Roger served on the Board of Directors at Habitat for Humanity - SLCC and volunteered at the Star of Hope Mission.
Most recently, Roger held the position of Vice President - Pricing and Market Analytics at Sunnova Energy, where they utilized their expertise in pricing and market analytics to benefit the company.
Roger Boneno earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of New Orleans in 1991. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Jesuit High School of New Orleans. In 1998, they obtained an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. Currently, from 2021 to 2024, they are pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies from the University of St. Thomas (TX).
