Linda Sala, PHR, SHRM-CP

Linda Sala, PHR, SHRM-CP has a comprehensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Linda currently serves as the Senior Human Resources Manager at Sunstar Americas, Inc., a global organization that focuses on oral health care. Prior to this, Linda held the position of Sr. Director, Human Resources-Head of HR at ISACA, where they led the HR department and contributed to the organization's career-advancing credentials. Linda's experience at ISACA also includes roles as HR Sr. Manager & Manager and HR Coordinator & Asst. Mgr., where they implemented various process improvements and modernized talent acquisition and benefit management practices. Additionally, Linda dedicated their time as a volunteer Communications Director at the Northwest Human Resources Council, where they actively engaged with the HR community to drive strategic HR programs and activities. Earlier in their career, Linda worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at Perfect Plastic Printing, specializing in payment solutions, and gained hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, payroll processing, compliance reporting, and program management. Linda's first professional role was at Burgess-Norton Manufacturing Co, where they started as a receptionist and later transitioned to a manufacturing role to expand their business and technical knowledge.

Linda Sala, PHR, SHRM-CP graduated from Judson University in 2012 with a BA in Human Resource Management and an Advanced Certificate in Management & Leadership. In May 2012, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Later, in January 2015, Linda obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM. Continuing their education, Linda obtained various additional certifications from LinkedIn, including Human Resources: Pay Strategy, Strategic Human Resources, Lean Six Sigma Foundations, Strategic Business Analysis Essentials, The Value of Employee Resource Groups, and The Human Resources Hero, all in 2023.
