Taewon Yun

Taewon Yun has a significant amount of experience in the gaming industry. Taewon is currently working at Super Evil Megacorp as the Chief Business Officer, a role they have held since November 2019. Prior to this, they served as the General Manager, Global Publishing at Super Evil Megacorp starting from April 2015.

In addition to their current role, Taewon has also served as a Strategy Advisor at Worldwide Webb since March 2023.

Before joining Super Evil Megacorp, Taewon worked at BWG Strategy LLC as an Advisory Board Member, starting in January 2019. BWG Strategy LLC is an invite-only network for senior executives in the technology, media, and telecom industries.

Taewon's experience in the gaming industry includes roles at Wargaming.net and Blizzard Entertainment. Taewon was the Managing Director, Asia at Wargaming.net from May 2012 to January 2015. At Blizzard Entertainment, they held the position of Platform Operation Director/Regional Technology Director starting from July 2008 to May 2012. Taewon also worked as Cofounder/VP of Operation at Red 5 Studios, Inc from July 2005 to July 2008. Prior to that, they were the Online Director, Korea at Blizzard Entertainment from April 2002 to July 2005.

Before joining the gaming industry, Taewon worked at Electronic Arts as the Deputy GM EA.COM ASIA from September 1999 to January 2002. Taewon also worked as an Associate Consultant at Boston Consulting Group from July 1999 to September 1999. Their early career included a role as an Assistant Manager in the game team at LG SOFT from December 1995 to January 1999.

Taewon Yun obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Fiber and polymer science from Seoul National University in 1993. Later, in 1995, they completed their education at the same institution with a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree, specializing in Fiber and Polymer Science.
