Cathryn Petchey

Cathryn Petchey is the Global People Director at Superdry, a position they have held since September 2017. Prior to that, they were the HR Director at their previous company for four years, where they were responsible for developing and delivering the strategic people agenda, and supporting the business to drive commercial advantage through its people.

Under their leadership, the company achieved a rapid shift in online ordering from 15% to 50% in three years, creating a digital leadership position in its market. Cathryn also transformed employee engagement by implementing an engagement programme; designed to improve levels of innovation, empowerment and customer focus. As a result, the company's "best companies" Times top 100 employee engagement score improved by 75 points.

Cathryn Petchey first studied history at Exeter University. Cathryn then went on to study human resource management at UWE, where they obtained their masters.
