Karin Reut Shannon

Karin Reut Shannon has been working in the field of biotechnology since 2018. Karin Reut began their career at Bio-Technology General, where they served as a Microbiologist. In 2021, they moved to SuperMeat, where they have held the roles of Head of Analytical Department, Team Leader, and Senior Researcher.

Karin Reut Shannon obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2012 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned their M.Sc in Clinical Biochemistry from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 2009 and 2011. Karin Reut also obtained their Bachelor of Science - BS in Chemistry from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 2005 and 2009.
