Tim McNamara

Tim McNamara has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Tim is currently working as the Vice President of Business Development, CSP at Supermicro since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft from 2012 to 2019, holding various positions including General Manager of Azure Engineering Hardware Program Management and Senior Director of Program Management. Before that, they worked at Dell from 1998 to 2012, where they held roles such as Director of Engineering (Alienware), Regional Director of Engineering, Senior Engineering Manager of Product Group Communications, and Senior Engineering Manager. Tim began their career at IBM in 1983, where they held positions including Senior Software Engineering Manager AIX TCP/IP Development, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Account Manager, Manager of NASA Training Systems Contract, and Engineering Program Office Manager.

Tim McNamara has a Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Texas at Austin. Tim also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
