Antti Summanen

Antti Summanen has a diverse work experience, with a focus on technical operations and management roles. Antti started their career at Mikkeli UAS - CampusTV as a TV reporter intern in 2005 and later worked as a freelance marketing video producer at Suur-Savon Sähkö Oy. In 2006, they obtained a work and holiday visa in New Zealand. From 2001 to 2008, Antti worked as a Network Designer at TeliaSonera. Antti then joined Supponor in 2009, where they held various positions including System Specialist, Senior System Specialist, Operations Manager (both in Finland and the UK), and Technical Production Manager. Currently, Antti is serving as the Head of Technical Operations at Supponor, responsible for leading operational integration projects, overseeing technical processes and hardware, and acting as a technical account manager for clients.

Antti Summanen has a diverse educational background in the field of technology and business. Antti started their education at Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences in 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in IT with a focus on Media & Telecommunications Technology. Antti successfully completed this program in 2006.

In 2005, Antti had the opportunity to further their studies as an exchange student at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During their time there, they specialized in Media Technology and also explored the area of Chinese business culture, economy, and markets.

Antti continued their academic journey by enrolling at Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences once again, this time pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Management. Antti completed this program in 2009, acquiring knowledge and skills in various aspects of business administration and management.

To further enhance their professional profile, Antti decided to pursue a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Business Informatics from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Antti enrolled in this program in 2013 and successfully completed it in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Antti has also obtained certifications in specific areas. In December 2019, they completed the Complete Python Bootcamp from Udemy, which provided him with in-depth knowledge of Python programming. Furthermore, in May 2021, Antti obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), demonstrating their proficiency in cloud computing concepts.
