Jay Bloom

Jay Bloom has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. From 2017 to present, they are the Owner & Managing Director at Supporting Strategies, where they provide bookkeeping and operational services to businesses nationwide. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2016, they worked as a Partner/Senior Management Consultant at Metro Solutions Inc. During this time, they managed the integration of First Niagara Indirect Auto business with Key Bank, leading multiple work streams and removing program roadblocks. From 2008 to 2016, Jay served as a Senior Vice President at Bank of America, managing a team that supported the back office processing platform for US Trust and the US Trust/Merrill Lynch Philanthropic Line of Business. Jay also worked at Metro Solutions LLC as a Partner/Senior Business Consultant, providing management consulting in the financial industry, and at Citigroup as an Information Systems Manager/Business Risk & Control, where they played a crucial role in technology and operations initiatives. Jay's experience also includes working at Bessemer Trust as a Business Project Manager, leading important technology projects, and at Citibank in various positions of increasing responsibility, including Relationship Manager and Global Project Manager. Jay started their career at CBS Corporation as a Vice President.

Jay Bloom earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Brooklyn College, where they studied from 1975 to 1979. Jay then pursued an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, completing their degree from 1980 to 1984. Jay Bloom also obtained an additional MBA in Finance, General from New York University. In terms of additional certifications, they completed "Acing Your Interview" from LinkedIn in December 2016, and "Agile Project Management" from LinkedIn in November 2016.
