Matt Schofield

Matt Schofield is the current CTO at Surfboard and was previously with Credit Kudos from January 2016 to May 2021 where they were a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer. Matt was responsible for incubating 50 of the fastest growing startups in Europe as part of the prestigious VCs including Index Ventures, Balderton Capital, Octopus Investments, and Y Combinator. In March 2022, Credit Kudos was acquired by Apple.

Matt Schofield first studied at Aquinas College, Stockport, where they achieved A-levels in Maths, English, Chemistry. Matt then went on to study Computer Science at The University of Manchester, graduating with a BSc (Hons). Matt also has a certification from YouTube in YouTube ContentID API.

Matt Schofield reports to Natasha Ratanshi-Stein, Founder. They work with Olivia Knight - People Manager, Shannon Ashley - Design Lead, and Karl Barker - Senior Product Manager. and Patrick Hainge - Data Scientist reports to Matt Schofield.
