Jonathan Warren

South Florida, Hawaii, Southern California, back to Florida… Jonathan Warren has covered a lot of ground since joining Surfline in 2006. Growing up in South Florida studying refraction swells, he enrolled at Florida State University, where he started the FSU Surf Team/Club and designed a website to lend his amateur forecasting skills to Florida surfers. While pursuing his BS in Meteorology, Jonathan befriended fellow FSU alumni, Mark Willis and Mike Watson, who ultimately helped steer him towards a career with Surfline. His current field of expertise is Bathymetry and Spot Mechanics.
