Peter Konijn's work experience begins with their current role as the Certification Director Land Use & Digital Solutions at SustainCERT since April 2021. Peter'searlier work experience includes roles as Manager of Policy and Evaluation at Cordaid (2002-2010), Policy Advisor at Ministerie van BZK (1999-2002), and Policy Advisor at Ecooperation (1993-1999). Peter began their career as a Studium Generale Policy Officer at Wageningen University (1992-1993) and a Researcher at the University of Amsterdam (1991-1993).

Peter Konijn began their education at Wageningen University & Research in 1982, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Irrigation. Peter successfully completed their studies in 1987. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Amsterdam from 1987 to 1991 to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science. Thus, Peter Konijn completed their educational journey with a strong foundation in both Irrigation and Political Science.
