Steven Hao

Steven Hao, MD FACC FHRS serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Sutter Service Lines and holds the Eugene and Lena H. Shao Chair in Cardiovascular Medicine at Sutter Health since June 2018. Additionally, Steven has been a physician and member of the Board of Directors at Sutter West Bay Medical Group since April 2010, where Steven also serves as President. Steven is an active member of the American Medical Association's CPT Editorial Panel and serves as a delegate to the House of Delegates. Steven has held several significant roles, including Medical Director of Electrophysiology at Queen of the Valley Hospital and Northern California Heart Care. Educationally, Steven earned an MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a BS in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, following a military academy education at Marmion Military Academy.
