Jon Eirik Hetland

Jon Eirik Hetland has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Jon Eirik most recently worked at Sval Energi as a Senior Business Analyst, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they were with Equinor, where they held several positions. Jon Eirik was a Principal Economic Analyst from July 2021 to January 2023, leading commercial quality assurance and economic analysis projects. Jon Eirik also served as a Senior Economic Analyst from March 2018 to July 2021, focusing on investment decisions, valuations, and resource allocation. Before joining Equinor, Jon Eirik worked at Statoil, where they held various roles. Jon Eirik also worked as a Senior Economic Analyst and Deal Handler in the company's gas and finance sectors. Prior to Statoil, Jon Eirik worked as an LNG Shipping/Cargo Operator and Analyst Deal Handler at Statoil, managing LNG vessels and optimizing fleet operations. Jon Eirik also served as a Demurrage Analyst in the oil trading and supply sector, handling contracts and portfolio control. In addition, they worked as a Contract Responsible in the contract department, managing bank accounts and account reconciliation.

Jon Eirik Hetland obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management from the University of Technology Sydney, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Jon Eirik later pursued further education at Kingston University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Business Management from 2011 to 2012.
