Rob Piperno has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. Rob began their career in 1994 as a Scientist at IATL, where they developed and implemented a trending program for all QC samples analyzed. In 1997, they joined Omnicare Clinical Research as a QA Supervisor and Senior Pharmaceutical Scientist. In 2001, they joined Centocor and Johnson & Johnson as a QA Associate and Manager, respectively. In 2004, they moved to Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance. In 2009, they joined GSK as a Director of Cell and Gene Therapy Quality Assurance, Manager of Biopharm R&D QA, and Quality Audit Manager. In 2020, they became Vice President of Quality and Head of Quality Assurance at SwanBio Therapeutics. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Triathlon Coach at Sonic Endurance.
Rob Piperno obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Rutgers University - Camden in 1994. Rob continued their education at Rutgers University - Camden, earning their Master of Science degree in Biology in 1999. In 2006, they earned their MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Saint Joseph's University - Erivan K. Haub School of Business. In 2007, they obtained their Six Sigma Certified Green Belt certification.
