Sean Clark PhD

VP Vector Engineering and Bioassay at SwanBio Therapeutics

Sean Clark PhD has over 25 years of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Sean began their career in 1994 as a Postdoctoral Fellow/Sub-Group Leader at UCLA. In 1996, they joined Princeton University as a Sr. Research Associate, followed by Visiting Research Fellow and Post-doctoral Fellow roles. In 2005, they moved to Amicus Therapeutics as a Sr. Director, Director of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Principal Investigator of Research Biology, Sr. Research Scientist II of Research Biology, and Sr. Research Scientist I of Discovery Biology. Most recently, in 2020, they joined SwanBio Therapeutics as VP Vector Engineering and Bioassay.

Sean Clark obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1984 and 1989. Sean then went on to obtain their PhD in Molecular Biology from the same institution between 1989 and 2004. Sean also holds a PhD certification from the University of California, Los Angeles.
