Chiara Genta

Chiara Genta has a diverse work experience in software development and research roles. Chiara is currently working as a Senior Backend Software Developer at Swascan since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Digital Virgo from June 2020 to January 2022.

Before transitioning to backend development, Chiara worked at DOCOMO Digital as a Senior Backend Software Developer from May 2011 to June 2020. Chiara'sresponsibilities included API development for an internal tracking system, development of an ingestion system, and maintenance of software for premium sms and mms delivery to customers.

Chiara also has research experience, having worked as an Assegnista di Ricerca at INFN from July 2010 to May 2011. Additionally, they held the same role at the University of Florence from March 2005 to February 2010. At the university, Chiara focused on integrating the CMS tracker, software development for detector signal reconstruction, data analysis, and teaching assistance for a programming and data analysis techniques course.

Furthermore, Chiara participated in the Special INFN Associate Programme in the Framework of the LHC at CERN from September 2008 to August 2009.

Chiara Genta's education history begins in 1996 when they enrolled at Università degli Studi di Firenze. Chiara completed their undergraduate studies between 1996 and 2001, earning a degree known as "Laurea vecchio ordinamento" in the field of Fisica nucleare e subnucleare. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a higher level of education and enrolled in a doctoral program at the same university. From 2002 to 2005, they studied Fisica delle particelle and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
