Jayme Fontenot

Principal Geospatial Sciences Program Lead at SWCA

Jayme Fontenot has extensive work experience in the field of geospatial sciences and GIS. They are currently working at SWCA Environmental Consultants as the Principal Geospatial Sciences Program Lead since December 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the GIS Supervisor from June 2019 to December 2021 and as a GIS Specialist from May 2012 to June 2019 at the same company.

Before joining SWCA Environmental Consultants, Jayme worked at The University of Texas at Arlington as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2010 to May 2012 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2009 to August 2010.

Earlier in their career, Jayme had roles at the Fort Worth Zoo, where they served as a Volunteer Coordinator from March 2008 to August 2009 and as a Nutritional Services Keeper from July 2005 to March 2008.

Jayme Fontenot has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biology, General from The University of Texas at Arlington, which was obtained from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, Jayme completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Zoology at the University of Oklahoma from 2001 to 2005. Furthermore, Jayme obtained a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in July 2023.
