Justin Rosenthal

Justin Rosenthal has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Justin is currently working as a Principal Engineer at The General Partnership since February 2022 and also holds the same position at Sweat Equity Ventures since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Google as a Lead Software Engineer from January 2017 to June 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Yahoo from October 2014 to January 2017, where they were responsible for various tasks such as managing direct reports and developing server infrastructure. Additionally, Justin has experience as a Co-Founder/CTO at MessageMe from April 2012 to October 2014, where they built and operated a messaging stack and managed a team of engineers. Justin also worked at LOLapps as a Director of Engineering and later as a Software Engineer from January 2009 to March 2012, where they managed the engineering organization and led development projects.

Justin Rosenthal earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007. Justin then pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution, which they completed in 2008.
