Brian Stumph has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brian began their career as a Personnel Coordinator and Front Desk Receptionist at Marquette University in 2015. During this time, they gained experience in staff management and customer service. Brian then worked as an Electrical Engineering Co-op at EmbedTek, where they managed the Quality Inspection process and conducted environmental tests on failed orders.

In 2017, Brian worked as a Research Assistant at the Computer Vision and Sensing Systems Lab, where they developed a color thresholding algorithm to detect insects. Brian also conducted data analysis to improve threshold values.

Brian continued their education and joined Marquette University as a Graduate Computer Systems Engineer Intern in 2018. Brian provided technical support for computer systems and communicated with end-users to resolve issues.

In 2019, Brian joined Raytheon Missiles & Defense as a Systems Engineer II. Brian supported the Software Performance team and wrote Python scripts to evaluate and visualize the performance of a missile simulation.

Brian then transitioned into a role as a Data Scientist at Raytheon Technologies in 2021. Brian developed a neural network regression model to predict prices of missile parts, achieving a Mean Squared Error of 0.

Currently, Brian is working as a Data Scientist at Swell Energy, where they use machine learning and constraint programming models to simulate the performance of energy storage devices. Brian also performs market analysis to support program design and execution activities.

Brian Stumph received their High School Diploma from Rolling Meadows High School from 2009 to 2013.
