Lance Honea has extensive experience in the energy and telecommunications industries. Lance currently works at Swell Energy as the Vice President of C&I Sales, where they collaborate with utility providers to create a more resilient and efficient energy grid. Lance previously held the role of Regional Sales Director at Swell Energy, where they focused on commercial energy solutions and delivered microgrids and financing options to customers. Prior to that, Lance worked at NantEnergy as a Regional Sales Manager, achieving high productivity in a short period of time. Lance also served as the Director of Channel Partnerships at Onsite Utility Services Capital, LLC, overseeing the strategic direction of the partner program. Lance has a background in energy savings as a service (ESaaS) through their role as the General Manager at TEEMWorks Energy. Lance also has experience in solar platform sales and business development at EcoMotion. Before entering the energy industry, Lance worked in the telecommunications field, serving as a Principal and Executive at Access One, where they led the company to substantial growth, and as a Major Account Representative at Allnet Communication Services, achieving outstanding sales performance.

Lance Honea completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business in 1990. Prior to that, they attended Mira Costa High School, where they pursued a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. In addition to their formal education, Lance obtained a certification as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers in June 2014.
