Yannick Bruyninckx

Yannick Bruyninckx has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Yannick started their career as an Intern at Belgacom in 2011 before moving on to work as a Java Developer and PL/SQL Developer at Sodexo Belgium from 2013 to 2017. Following this, they joined Hermes Engineering as a Senior Java Developer and Technical Architect, working on various internal and client projects until 2019. Bruyninckx then worked at Infrabel, where they held roles as a Technical Architect, Senior Java Developer, and Application Architect. Yannick was responsible for developing and managing the Train Management System (TMS) and HIRO application. Currently, they are employed at SWIFT as an Engineering Chapter Lead & Lead developer, overseeing the development and adoption of new technologies for Financial Crime and Compliance products. Overall, Bruyninckx has a strong background in Java development, systems engineering, technical architecture, and project management.

Yannick Bruyninckx holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications from the Université libre de Bruxelles, which was completed in 2012. In addition to their formal education, Yannick has also obtained various certifications, including the ICA Specialist Certificate in Financial Crime Risk in Cryptocurrencies from the International Compliance Association in 2023, First Aid certification from Attentia in 2022, and several LinkedIn certifications in areas such as Blockchain, Algorithmic Trading, and AI and Machine Learning.
