Emmanuel Marthe

Emmanuel Marthe has a diverse work experience in the energy and engineering industry. Emmanuel began their career in 1999 as a Research Assistant and System Administrator at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where they worked until 2005. In 2005, they joined Energie Ouest Suisse as a Network Engineer, and stayed with the company until 2009. Emmanuel then moved to Alpiq, where they held positions as an Electrical Engineer and later as the Head of Grid Operational Support from 2009 to 2013. Since 2014, Emmanuel has been working at Swissgrid AG as the Head of Grid Operational Support.

Emmanuel Marthe pursued their education at the EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. From 1993 to 1999, they studied at EPFL and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they continued their academic journey and enrolled in a doctoral program at EPFL. From 2000 to 2005, Emmanuel Marthe conducted research on Electromagnetic Compatibility in Power Line Communications and successfully completed their PhD, earning the degree of Dr ès Sc. Tech. EPF.
