Om Kumar

Om Kumar has extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on engineering and design. Om is currently working as the Head of Advanced Engineering at Switch Mobility, where they are responsible for developing strategies to differentiate the company's EV offerings and prioritize sustainability and efficiency in design and development. Prior to this, Om held various leadership roles at Ford Motor Company, Allison Transmission, John Deere, The Timken Company, and BEML LTD. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in driveline design, project management, sales, and marketing. Om has consistently contributed to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked for, earning accolades and leading successful initiatives.

Om Kumar completed the Executive General Management Program (EGMP) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B tech) degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur between 1995 and 1999. In addition, Om obtained a certification in "Delivering an Authentic Elevator Pitch" from LinkedIn in February 2022.
