Pedro Sousa

Pedro Sousa is an experienced embedded software team lead currently at Sword Health since April 2021, previously holding roles as a senior firmware engineer and OS engineer. Prior to Sword Health, Pedro served as a software engineer at DSR Corporation and Synopsys Inc. and worked as a software engineer contractor at Randstad for Synopsys Inc. Experience also includes research at INESC Technology and Science and leadership roles within the IEEE Student Branch at ISEP. Pedro completed a licenciatura in Engenharia Electrotécnica e de Computadores from ISEP and has an unfinished Master's degree in Autonomous Systems from the same institution. An early background includes a Técnico Nível 4 in Electrónica Industrial e Automação and participation in a robotics workshop in the Netherlands.
