Mike Curry

Mike Curry has extensive work experience in the software engineering and solutions architecture industry. Mike began their career at Curam Software in 2001 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on code development and testing. In 2005, they became the Lead Technical Architect for the Solutions Group at Curam Software, where they were involved in the development of domain-specific solutions for social welfare. In 2012, they joined IBM as a Security Architect and Solutions Architect, focusing on the rollout of new development practices and ensuring the security of customer deployments. Mike later transitioned to the role of Lead Technical Architect, working on issue investigation, solution development, and new feature implementation. In 2015, they joined Fidelity Investments as a Principal Solutions Architect, providing architectural guidance. Mike most recently worked at Swrve as a Senior Software Engineer.

Mike Curry attended the Waterford Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a BSC in Applied Computing with a focus on Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they have also earned various certifications from Coursera, including "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" in July 2016, "Principles of Reactive Programming" in May 2015, "Exploratory Data Analysis" in March 2015, "Getting and Cleaning Data" in March 2015, "R Programming" in February 2015, and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" in February 2015.
