Mathias Stie-Svendsen

Mathias Stie-Svendsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mathias started their career in 2008 as a Kasserer and Kasseassistent at Coop Danmark. Mathias later worked as a Rengøringsassistent at Horsens Sygehus in 2009. In 2010, they served as a Brandmand at Beredskabsstyrelsen, where they gained skills in brandslukning and katastrofe håndtering. From 2011 to 2018, Mathias worked at various companies, including Aarhus University Hospital, Coop Danmark, and Sonlinc A/S, in roles such as Portner, Portør afløser, and Studentermedhjælper.

In 2018, Mathias joined DADIU as a QA/UR Team Manager, overseeing a team of 11 managers distributed across multiple locations. In this role, they led the testing of 6 different digital games. Following this, they worked as a Gameplay Tester and QA/UX Responsible at Flashbulb Games in 2019.

From 2020 to 2022, Mathias was a QA specialist at Netcompany, utilizing their expertise to ensure high-quality standards in software products. Currently, they are employed as a QA Tester at SYBO.

Mathias Stie-Svendsen began their education in 2008 at Sønderborg Idræts Højskole IHS, where they pursued a degree in Fitnessinstruktør (Fitness Instructor) until 2009. In 2010, they attended Beredskabsstyrelsen, where they obtained a degree in Brand og redning (Fire and Rescue) for that year.

Moving forward, Mathias attended Game IT College from 2011 to 2014, specializing in Spil og Interaktiv Mediedesign (Game and Interactive Media Design). Following this, they enrolled at IT-Universitetet i København and pursued a degree in Digital medie og design (Digital Media and Design) from 2014 to 2017.

Continuing their education, Mathias obtained a Kandidatgrad (Master's degree) in Games from IT-Universitetet i København, where they attended from 2017 to 2019.

Additionally, Mathias has attained several certifications. In 2020, they received the ISTQB Foundation certification from the Danish Software Testing Board. Furthermore, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in 2021 and the ISTQB Certified Tester, Agile Extension certification from the Danish Software Testing Board in 2022.
