Marcelo Sales

Marcelo Sales is a Senior Project Manager at Sydney Water, responsible for client-side project management for the Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre since October 2023. Previously, Marcelo spent ten years at Altogether Group in various roles, including Scheme Implementation Manager and Project Manager, focusing on infrastructure project management, planning, design, procurement, contract management, and construction, ensuring projects met objectives and stakeholder expectations. Marcelo's early career included positions as a Project Engineer at Altogether Group, an Engineering Assistant at City of Canada Bay, and Civil Engineer roles at Franco Araujo Ltda and Costa Andrade, where significant experience in water infrastructure, project execution, and compliance with engineering standards was gained. Marcelo holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Science, specializing in Project Management from UNSW, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia, and a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
