Brendan McGill

Brendan McGill has a diverse background in various legal roles. Brendan began their career as a Law Clerk for Judge Frank M. Hull at the U.S. Court of Appeals in 2003. Following this, they worked as a Senior Associate at Alston & Bird LLP, where they focused on M&A transactions, securities offerings, and corporate governance for public and private companies. At Mohawk Industries, they served as an Assistant General Counsel, handling corporate and transactional matters. Brendan then joined Invesco Ltd., starting as a Senior Counsel, where they provided legal counsel on corporate governance, acquisitions, and divestitures. Brendan later became a Director of Corporate Development, overseeing global corporate M&A activities. Most recently, Brendan joined Sylvan Road Capital LLC as the Chief Legal Officer.

Brendan McGill completed their high school education at Marist from 1990 to 1996, earning their High School Diploma. Brendan then pursued their undergraduate studies at Duke University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Brendan went on to attend the University of Virginia School of Law from 2000 to 2003, where they earned their Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
