Michael Adler-Platzer

Scientist at Symphogen

Michael Adler-Platzer has a diverse work experience in various scientific and research roles. Michael started their career as a PhD student at Reflab aps in 2002 and continued until 2005. Michael then worked as a Research Fellow at Southampton Solent University from 2006 to 2008. After that, they joined Statens Serum Institut as a QC chemist from 2008 to 2012. Michael then moved on to FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, where they worked as a Senior Associate II from 2012 to 2023. Currently, they are employed at Symphogen as a Scientist, starting in January 2023. In addition to their employment, they have also served as an Expert Reviewer for the European Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology since 2005.

Michael Adler-Platzer has an extensive education history. Michael first attended Niels Steensens gymnasium from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Studentereksamen degree with a focus on Matematik Fysik og Kemi (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry). Michael then proceeded to DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemistry. Following this, they attended Danmarks Farmaceutiske Universitet from 1997 to 2002 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Pharm with a specialization in immunologi and allergi (immunology and allergy). Finally, they attended Københavns Universitet from 2002 to 2005 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Immunologi.
