Olatz San Miguel Irizar

Olatz San Miguel Irizar began their work experience in 2013 as a private teacher. From November 2015 to October 2018, they worked in the International Department at Hospital Del Mar - International Care, where they managed the stay of non-national patients, handled administrative tasks, and improved communication between staff and patients. In November 2020, they started an internship at Chr. Hansen in the Upscaling - R&D Process Development department, which lasted until February 2021. From February 2021 to the present, Olatz is employed as a Scientist at Symphogen.

Olatz San Miguel Irizar began their education in 2008 at the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, where they pursued a degree in Biology. Olatz completed their undergraduate studies in 2013.

In 2014, Olatz went on to the Universitat de Barcelona, where they obtained a Master's degree in Oceanography and the Management of the Marine Environment. Olatz completed this program in 2015.

Olatz furthered their education again in 2019 at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology. Olatz completed their studies in this field in 2021.

During their time at the DTU, in February 2018, Olatz also obtained a certification in "Antimicrobial Resistance - Theory and Methods" from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark through an online course provided by Coursera.

In 2011, they briefly studied at the Università degli Studi di Cagliari, although the specific degree and field of study were not provided.
