Hazel Pitt

Hazel Pitt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Hazel started their career as an R&D technician and chemist at Amersham plc from 2001 to 2006. Hazel then joined GE Healthcare and held various roles including Qualified Person and Deputy RP, QA Analyst, and R&D Technology Transfer Leader. At GE Healthcare, they performed batch review and certification, conducted audits, and ensured compliance with standards and regulations. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Qualified Person and Quality Controller at PAREXEL, where they were responsible for GMP operations and audit of manufacturers. In 2020, they founded HP QP Services and served as Managing Director until 2021. From 2020 to 2022, they were the Global Head of Quality at Orifarm, overseeing quality strategy and leading the integration of quality management systems. In 2022, they joined Callisto Pharma Group as Lead GMP Manager, ensuring compliance and managing batch release activities. Currently, they hold the position of Quality Director at Synairgen Research Ltd. Overall, Hazel Pitt has demonstrated expertise in quality management, GMP, regulatory compliance, and process improvement in the pharmaceutical industry.

Hazel Pitt completed their MSc in Chemistry from the University of Bristol between 1999 and 2003.
