Eric Misbach

Eric Misbach has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy and environmental field. Eric currently works as the Director of Community Solar at Syncarpha Capital since December 2022. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Nexamp, including Director of Community Solar Program Management (April 2021-November 2022), New Market Development Director of Community Solar (October 2019-April 2021), Associate Director of Community Solar Operations (March 2018-October 2019), and Project Manager of Community Solar (September 2015-March 2018). Before joining Nexamp, Eric was a Business Development Manager at Fraunhofer USA - Center for Sustainable Energy Systems from 2014 to 2015. Eric also worked as an Account Manager/Business Development Manager at CivicSolar from 2013 to 2014. Eric has further experience as a Climate Corps Fellow/MBA Intern at CA Technologies with the Environmental Defense Fund in 2012. Eric began their career as a Program Coordinator for Climate & Energy at the Union of Concerned Scientists from 2007 to 2011 and also served as a Group Leader for Experiment in International Living at World Learning in 2007.

Eric Misbach completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at NYU Stern School of Business from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In 2005, Eric also participated in a program focused on Tanzania's Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the School for International Training.
